We are happy to announce that we have reached the milestone of 2 billion indexed individuals on Geneanet!

It took almost 16 years to reach the milestone of one billion individuals, and only 2 years to index one billion more individuals.

Geneanet is an excellent site, and it helped me earlier when you had a different format, along with connections to Centre Genealogique du Finistre. That connection wasreally good.

Congrats on getting so many names indexed. I just wish I had some way to connect with someone who has a huguenot or protestant COZIAN/Cozean in their Brittany history. My fellow who married in 1805 in TN was still using the Cozean/Cozian name, so it must not have been long since the family left native Bretagne. I have been working on this since 1968 and I have only made one generation. You helped me a few years ago before you reorganized the site..
