Upload Archival Records and Attach Them to Your GeneaNet Family Tree

Did you know that you can upload Archival Records and attach them to your GeneaNet Family Tree?

And that you can attach Archival Records uploaded by other GeneaNet members?

Here is how to attach Archival Records to your family tree to prove your genealogy research!

Upload an Archival Record

Select the ‘Archive & Pictures > Archival Records’ item in the drop down menu at the top right of the screen.

Then click the ‘Upload & Share your Archival Records’ button.

Select the type of record you want to upload: Parish Record (Baptism, Marriage, Burial), Civil Record (Birth, Marriage, Death), Census, or Other (Will, Military Record, etc.).

Then, fill in the form and select the image file to upload.

Attach an Archival Record to your Family Tree

Go to the page of an individual in your GeneaNet family tree, then click ‘Add Archival Record’ in the menu bar at the top of the page.

Select an Archival Record in the list or click ‘Search the GeneaNet database’ to search for any Archival Record related to this individual.
