Letters From Scotland's Victorian Asylums Go On Display
Documents which give a fascinating insight into life inside Scotland's Victorian lunatic asylums will be revealed to the public. Archives from Craig Dunain Hospital, in Inverness, will be available to the public in the Highland Archive Centre.Hundreds of letters from patients at the Royal Edinburgh Hospital have been analysed as part of its bicentenary celebrations. BBC Scotland's health correspondent Eleanor Bradford reports.
