OK so how do we find the link?
OK I read further and figured it out. Sorry for the question. John
I am not interested in Maria Baxter I want a form for my geneology - and you do not allow mw to create this.
@David: You must have a GeneaNet family tree to access this feature.
I would like to be able to print out a fan family tree (I have a tree on geneanet), how do I do this?
@Lorene: Go to http://gw5.geneanet.org/verdel?lang... or any other page in your family tree then click "Ancestry Chart" at the bottom of the page.
Hi, I did that. It created a PDF File and I saved to my computer, then opened it and tried to print it, all I got was a few blank pages. Do I need the PDF file, or do I just print from the Gallery site??
@Lorene:You can print from the PDF file and from the gallery.
I have tried the "9-generation ancestry of Charles William BETZ" chart you have created and it works well. This PDF file contains 30 pages with your ancestry chart.
I could not print from the PDF file (blank pages), nor convert it to Word. message said that it was because the file was password protected. Can you give me the l, 2, 3 etc steps so that I can try to print from the Gallery???
@Lorene:
1. Go to your gallery of Ancestry Charts at http://gw5.geneanet.org/verdel_w?la...
2. Click the "Download" button in the "9-generation ancestry of Charles William BETZ" box
3. Save the file to your computer
4. Open the file with Acrobat Reader
5. Click the "Print File" button in Acrobat Reader
I did it while writing this message and it works.
The files are not password protected.
Thank you so much for your help.
I printed out a 9 gen fan chart it is 12 pages big how do I put it together, so it will be moveable?
I love it but don't know how to fit it together.
Thank for any help.
Diana
Diana, you must tape the pages together.
