Today, a brand-new exhibition goes live on Europeana. ‘Leaving Europe: A new life in America’ tells the story of European emigration to the United States during the 19th and 20th centuries.It’s the result of an exciting collaboration with the Digital Public Library of America and uses more than 100 photographs, manuscripts, newspapers, paintings, letters, audio and government documents to chart peoples’ journeys across the European continent and their settlement in the United States.
