Tombstone Found in Petaluma Returned to Historic Comstock in Nevada
A tombstone stolen decades ago from the gravesite of two young boys who froze to death in an 1871 blizzard on Nevada's historic Comstock is being returned to a small cemetery in Gold Hill.The broken marble headstone with the names of 14-year-old Henry Jones and his 9-year-old brother, John, was found near a mailbox in 1978 near Petaluma.
