The New GeneaStar Website Has Launched
The new GeneaStar website has launched. This is a website provided and owned by GeneaNet, and it's free for everyone!On GeneaStar, you can:
- View the family tree of nearly 2,000 famous people (about 800 of them are from American, English and Irish descent, and new famous people are added every day)
- Automatically compare your GeneaNet family tree with the GeneaStar database
- Add a family link between you and a famous people
- Add some famous genealogies.
Go to en.geneastar.org:
Automatically compare your GeneaNet family tree with the GeneaStar database
Click 'Are You Related to a Famous People?' at the top of the screen then click 'Compare':
You will be sent to the GeneaNet website and the results list will be automatically displayed:
Add a family link between you and a famous people
Go to the page of a famous people then click 'Submit your Common Ancestor':
You will be sent to the GeneaNet website to select the common ancestor in your family tree:
Add some famous genealogies
Click 'Submit a Famous Genealogy' at the top of the screen then select if you want to add a famous genealogy from your GeneaNet family tree or if you want to send a GEDCOM file:
Adding a famous genealogy from your GeneaNet family tree is really easy as you just have to select it in the list of your individuals:
