A Canadian war cemetery in Belgium has been desecrated, including damage to the headstone of a Second World War fighter pilot from Ottawa.
Eleven headstones overseen by a Commonwealth cemeteries commission were damaged in three separate attacks by vandals at the Leopoldsburg War Cemetery about 85 kilometres east of Brussels.
