Our ancester Barnard James Torney was born on 26 Oct 1839 in Ireland. We've no idea where though. Please can you check and see if it was Dublin? Many many thanks for this kind offer.
With all kind regards, Christine

James Lemon born about 1709 County Tyrone
To USA 1750's
Several children, James, Robert, and others
Need siblings and parents of James, as our ancestor is George Lamon (Lemon, Lemmon). 100% DNA match to James, but not listed as a son. George may or may not have been born in Ireland, circa 1756.
Thanks for any info you might be able to obtain.

Hello Kate Bray
Maybe you can help me. My g-grandfather was John Holcombe a bookkeeper from Somerset who married Bridget Keane from Dublin, here in Qld I think. I remember that Bridget's father was a Gas Lamp Lighter in Dublin.
10 years ago I had more information as to when Bridget could have been born, but can't find that now. Then, I tried to research Lamp Lighters in Dublin, met the current Lamp Lighter, but could find no names.
I can get Bridget Holcombe's Death Cert at the end of Jan to see her likely birth date.
Can you help?

Hi Kate
My great-grandparents Peter Dolan & Ann Burke(Bourke) had 7 children, Edward, Mary, Anne, Bridget, Henry, Bernard, Peter, all baptised at St James RC, Dublin. Mary was my grandmother and was in England by 1881. Looking for anything on the family, especially Peter Dolan who was supposed to be a hat & cap maker.
Thanks Sue
