GeneaNet Favorite Searches, Individual Alert & Cross-Database Alert
The 'Favorite Searches' allow GeneaNet members to receive a weekly email aggregate of the latest entries that contain the surnames and places of their choice. History of the latest entries can be read on the website.GeneaNet Club Privilege members can receive more accurate emails that aggregate the latest entries by name (with alternate spelling), first name (with alternate spelling), place, year, occupation and spouse. These are the 'Individual Alerts'.
Club Privilege members can also automatically compare their family tree with the GeneaNet database and receive a periodical email aggregate of the latest entries. Cross-Database Email Alerts are preserved and the archive can be read at any time.
1. Favorites Searches
The GeneaNet 'Favorite Searches' allow GeneaNet members to receive a weekly email aggregate of the latest entries that contain the surnames and places of your choice. History of the latest entries can be read on the website.
Click the ‘Create a new Favorite Search’ below the search results list to create a new Favorite Search:

Select the ‘Favorites Searches’ item in the drop down menu at the top right of the screen:

This will open a new page with the list of your Favorites Searches:

Select the ‘Email Alert’ option in the list to enable the history feature.
Select a date in the ‘View Search Results’ list to view the history of your Favorite Searches at that date:

You can edit any Favorite Search at any time:

2. Individual Alert
GeneaNet Club Privilege members can receive more accurate emails that aggregate the latest entries by name (with alternate spelling), first name (with alternate spelling), place, year, occupation and spouse. These are the 'Individual Alerts'.
Select the 'Individual Search' option then enter a surname and a first name:

If needed, use the search form in the right sidebar to add more search criteria, then click 'Create a new Individual Alert' at the bottom of the search results list:

Go to 'My GeneaNet > Favorite Searches > Individual Alerts' to edit and delete your 'Individual Alerts':

If you didn't create any 'Individual Alert' yet, you can automatically convert all of your current 'Favorite Searches' to 'Individual Alerts':

Simply add some search criteria to refine your 'Individual Alert' or click the 'Delete' link at the bottom of the form to remove it from the list (if the 'Email Alert' option is not selected, the search will not appear in the email that aggregates the latest entries):

3. Cross-Database Alert
Club Privilege members can also automatically compare their family tree with the GeneaNet database and receive a periodical email aggregate of the latest entries. Cross-Database Email Alerts are preserved and the archive can be read at any time.
Select the ‘Favorites Searches’ item in the drop down menu at the top right of the screen, then click ‘Cross-Database’ in the left sidebar.
Click a date to display the Cross-Database Alert:

The first line (in green) show your own data. Next lines show the data that have been found in the GeneaNet database.
Click the ‘Configure’ tab to change the search and delivery options, or to disable the Cross-Database Alert:

The 'Individual Alert' and the 'Cross-Database Alert' are reserved for GeneaNet Club Privilege members. You can click the button below to subscribe:
