The Kansas Historical Society Digitizes Old Newspapers
Kansas has been awarded additional funding by the National Endowment for the Humanities to continue its participation in the National Digital Newspaper Program, according to Kansas Historical Society officials.As a result, the Kansas Historical Society will digitize an additional 100,000 pages of Kansas newspapers, dating from 1836-1922.

I love looking for ancestors in newspapers. You can find out so much more than just names and dates. I'm assuming this is in conjunction with the LOC. Are the records going to be available on-line as some newspapers from the LOC are?
