Are You Related to Henry Ford?
Ford was born July 30, 1863, on a farm in Greenfield Township (near Detroit, Michigan).His father, William Ford (1826–1905), was born in County Cork, Ireland, of a family originally from western England, who were among migrants to Ireland as the English created plantations. His mother, Mary Litogot Ford (1839–1876), was born in Michigan; she was the youngest child of Belgian immigrants; her parents died when Mary was a child and she was adopted by neighbors, the O'Herns. Henry Ford's siblings include Margaret Ford (1867–1938); Jane Ford (c. 1868–1945); William Ford (1871–1917) and Robert Ford (1873–1934).

Hello. My Great grandmother is Ethel FOrd and I am told she was a niece or some relation to Henry Ford. Any evidence?
To Whom it may concern; I'm trying to trace our family tree. My mother told me years ago that our family was related to the Ford company and I never pursued it because I haven't seen my father since I was five years old. My father and brothers name is Edsel Ford and my father and mother both met in the New York area when they were both young and moved to California during war war II. My great grandmother Eleanor (Bench) Phillips is a half sister to Clara (Bryant) Ford's mother Martha (Bench) Bryant. My great grandmother was in the wedding party of Clara and Henry and my grandfather would often talk about the Ford family. The Phillips and Ford farms were near each other.
Hi, My Great Great Grandmother was Sarah Ford. Family stories say she was a cousin of Henry Ford. I believe she may have been a daughter of either Samuel Ford or Henry Ford (the uncle of the Henry Ford we know). This would make her 1st cousins to Henry Ford, which in turn would make me his 5th cousin!!! I would love to know if this information is actually correct.
