GeneaNet Search Preferences
The GeneaNet Search Preferences allows users to save some settings that will be applied to all future searches.You can enter some GeneaNet Account usernames to exclude from your search results list or you can select a Group of Contacts in your Address Book.
You can also restrain your search to some places and to the most popular places in your Family Tree.
1. Favorite Places
You can restrain your search to some places and to the most popular places in your Family Tree.
Select the ‘Account’ item in the drop down menu at the top right of the screen then click ‘Preferences’ in the left sidebar.
You can add as many places as needed and you can remove them from the list at any time.

You can now select a place in the list of your Favorite Places when making a search in the database.

2. Excluded Accounts
You can enter some GeneaNet Account usernames and you can select a Group of Contacts from your GeneaNet Address Book to exclude them from the search results list.
For example, you can add your own GeneaNet username to exclude your data from the search results list!

You can remove any username from the list at any time.
