The GeneaNet 'Individual Match'
The GeneaNet 'Individual Match' allows you to automatically search for individuals that could match with any of your ancestors in the GeneaNet Online Family Trees!
This powerful feature is reserved for GeneaNet Club Privilege members.
You can click the 'Individual Match' button at the top right of any individual page in your Online Family Tree (GeneWeb). This will open a new window with the list of the individuals that match with your ancestor.
Click the 'Online Family Tree' tab at the top of the screen.
If you are not a GeneWeb user, click the 'View Family Tree in GeneWeb' link in the left sidebar as shown below:

Select a person in your family tree, then click the 'Individual Match' button at the top right of the screen.

This will open a new window with the list of the individuals that match with your ancestor as shown below:

If there are too many or not enough search results in the list, you can edit the search criteria:
- You can search by alternate spelling of name
- You can search for the full first name or one of the first names
- You can ignore the place
- You can change the date
Happy genealogy hunting with the GeneaNet 'Individual Match'!

Genealogy has been much improved over the recent years because of the great interest in the forefathers and mothers. Before I tried to get information and everytime I ran into "pay for this and pay for that". My Genealogy has recently improved through some on line programs that permit E-mail addresses to be included so the new person added to the Tree can review the data, correct it if needed, add to to if desired, limit the access or hide identity. In most cases when have talked to people they have gone to such programs and making good progress. They were Genealogist that had worked the old way, they earned it the hard way: writing letters with requests, going to the library and having some advantages through the library, relatives were always a great source.
