Mormons Agree to Stop Baptizing Jewish Holocaust Victims
Since 1840, members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints have been encouraged to perform baptisms in temples for their deceased relatives. However, the Mormon baptism of hundreds of thousands of Jewish Holocaust victims created a 15-year controversy for the Salt Lake City-based church. On Sept. 1, the church made an agreement with Jewish leaders, acknowledging that the practice had "unintentionally caused pain," with an LDS pledge to American Jewish leaders to stop the practice.

As a matter of fact, they should stop baptizing any deceased people. Theologically, it's impossible and invalid,
It seems now lack of human rights will now extend to lack of rights of the Dead. Jesus and God will set you right on this very soon. I would take the baptism etc as an offer and request to our ONE God please accept this soul in to Heaven as they never had a chance to have it done while living. Theology is only by interpretation of the speaker, the view at the time. Can I request God to take into his care of the baby my Mum Lost 10 Mins after Birth, but told was deformed and would have died anyway. The baby breathed and was if for a very shortwhile a human being with rights of passage on Earth even for 10 mins.
Wake up world, Please! Peace, Love and Understanding will help all humanity on this Earth......If you were observant you would see that Jesus Has returned, and gone again leaving his blessings with those who Acknowledged him. But He'll Be Back!!! also Long ago Jews killed more Women/Witches than Nazis killed Jews? Very Ancient History..but my ancestors will not expect retribution over that. Getoverit.
A year after my uncle died he was baptized into the Mormon cult. My cousins were not asked. It was just done. The person who sponsored my uncle is a total stranger to the family.
I have many ancestors baptized by people who are not descendants.
I know I have some relatives baptized by the Mormons. I know these relatives are probably turning over in their graves as they were true Lutherans. I think the family should be notified before this ritual is done.
I would think if the person living or deceased cannot give consent then its a moot point anyway.Cast all you want at me,but if I refuse to acknowledge it before my God then it has no bearing on me at all.
Please look at 1st Corinthians 15:29
