JFK Archives Going Digital
Historians are winding up a four year, $10 million effort to digitize the John F. Kennedy presidential archives. The project is called "Access to a Legacy" and will be posted online in January.According to the Boston Globe, it marks the first time a presidential archive available in its entirety online. Among the documents include a handwritten version of Kennedy's inaugural address and notes and tapes made during the Cuban missile crisis.
