When merging a GEDCOM file to your GeneaNet online family tree, you may create some duplicate people. To eliminate duplicates, you can delete one of them.
Online Family Tree (GeneWeb)
A duplicate entry has been created for Susan Leech, spouse of John Baxter.
Click the “Wizard Access” link in the left sidebar then enter your GeneaNet username and password to log on as “Wizard”.
Enter the surname and name of the duplicate individual in the search form, select “first name/name”, then click “OK”.

Same problem. Where is real-time online assistance. This is a difficult platform to figure out and online directions cannot be followed.

12 years later, there is no left toolbar. I have deleted individuals and they don’t delete. I’m left with an empty box with “?” as if the person still exists but now has no name. How does one remove the spare/duplicate boxes (no merge didn’t work; it also left an empty box).
Answer from Geneanet: Please ask support questions in our forum or, if you are a Premium member, open a support ticket.

I have made some mistakes with entering data in the family tree and although I have tried different ways of correction I am now stumped about how to edit out wrong information and enter correct data.
Answer from Geneanet: Can you please give an example?
