NBC Renews 'Who Do You Think You Are?'
NBC renews "Who Do You Think You Are?," a program hosted by Lisa Kudrow that traces the ancestry of famous people."Who Do You Think You Are?" has performed well on Fridays, a night where the bar is definitely lower. Last week, the show actually beat CBS' "The Ghost Whisperer" in adults 18-49. Currently the show is averaging 6.8 million viewers and a 1.6 rating in the demographic.

Our modern society being very mobile, the addition here of the place of birth of the person researched, would help in tracing ancestors, especially in case of an immigrant to another country. As an example, a person might be born in a country from where he emigrated in his youth. but had lived all his life in two successive countries, and nevertheless died on a trip to the old country... Hence, my father was born and died in the same town, but lived all his adult life abroad, in two different countries...
Knowing he had terminal cancer, he must have wanted to die where he was born.
