WWII Plaques Stolen In New Britain
Two of the six plaques were pulled from the granite of the monument that was constructed shortly after the end of the war.
Officials are hoping the plaques can be found because, while they can be replaced, officials said it might be tough coming up with the names that were on them.
The plaques were made of bronze or brass and are of minimal value in terms of money, but priceless in what they represent.
