GeneaNet: Upload Records And Attach Them To Your Online Family Tree
Did you know that you can attach digitized records to your online family tree? Not only yours, but also records uploaded by any GeneaNet user!
Go to "My GeneaNet : Online Records : Upload" then select the type of record you want to upload (Parish Record, BMD Register, Notarial Record, Other Record).
Then, fill in the form by entering the source of the record (archive, library, Internet, etc.), the place and date of the event, some notes and your personal reference.Attach A Record To Your Family Tree
Go to your online family tree, log on as "wizard", select an individual, then click on "Add Record/Register".
This open a new pop-up window showing all the records you have uploaded for the surname of the selected individual.
To attach a record indexed to another surname or a record uploaded by another GeneaNet user, you can make a new search from this pop-up window.
You can attach any record to your family tree, even if the individual doesn't appear on it.
When submitted, reload the individual page. A new section named "Associated documents" show the records you have attached to the individual.
