I can't fine my geat-grandfather william Collins in either the 1850 or 1860 census. He was born in 1849
in Penn. His parents were also born in Pa.
By 1870 he is in Iowa.

I have hit a brickwall. My ancestor Jonathan Hamilton was born 07 Mar 1792 in Virginia or Maryland.He died 16 Jan 1845 in Whigville,Noble,Ohio. He married Kesiah Forbs on 07 Apr 1814 in Belmont County,Ohio. Kesiah was born 25 Dec 1797 in PA or VA. She died 14 Apr 1889 in Whigville,Noble,OH. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

My earliest ancester found,Stephen Staley , B. 1760, Berkely, Va.,M. Barbara Yeasley. May be the son of a Jacob Staley,B. 1720-30. Can anyone help confirm this?
