New: surnames and places discussed in the forums are now indexed in the GeneaNet database
The surnames and places discussed in the regional and surname forums are now indexed in the GeneaNet database and will appear in the search results lists.
Search results will be easily recognized by a new icon icon:
To compare your data to the surnames and places discussed in the forums, go to the "Cross-Database Search" page and enter "forum" in the "Compare my data against any user" field:
In the search results list, entries will be recognized by the "forum" link or the following icon for Club Privilege members:
).Clicking on the link or the icon will open a list of all available discussions:
Remember that you can change your forum preferences (signature, avatar, etc.) on the "Account > Forums Preferences" page:

Unfortunately not.
But you can use the "Translate a Web Page" feature of GoogleTranslate to automatically translate French forums into English.
