To start, go to your Online Family Tree. Connect in mode wizard (orange icon: wizard hat, upper right).

Choose the person who will be the origin of your search, then go to its individual peg.
Now, click on "relatives relationship search", bottom left.

In our example, we went to François Charles Antoine Garozzi peg. The screen shows the following:

Please note that boxes checked by default are : an empty box (!) and "first name surname or not public or alias". The empty box is, of course, the surname with whom you want to link. Also, check the box "surname", this will be more effective. Also by default, the spouse of the origin person is indicated, in case you would want to choose the latter.

Before you confirm, choose the result presentation you want :
- "Long display" will give all details on places and dates,
- "include spouses" will add spouses, if any,
- "images" will add photos if any,
- "cancel links GeneWeb" will cancel clickable links (useful if you need to print the result page only),
- "colour" will define the background colour ,
- "border" size of the border in pixels  (do not exceed 10 pixels otherwise this will be unreadable !)

Now you can launch the search, just choose the one you want. With "Ancestors" or "Relatives by marriage", you will get the family relationship between the two persons. With "shortest way", you will see how these two people are related, even if there is no relationship !

To get the result, show the surname in the above empty box, confirm : you have the choice of the person to link by first name. Clicking on it, you get the result.
