Optimize the use of GeneaNet !

Detailed examination of your queries you sent to our technical support for the last few weeks, reveals that some of you have, often unvoluntarily, several accounts with GeneaNet...
Most often, this comes from the fact that you forgot your login or password, and you prefer to create a new account instead of asking us your identification parameters of your initial account.

This generates confusion when you put your family tree online, in the folow-up of your orders in the webshop, etc.

Therefore, it is important to remind you some of the usage practice of your GeneaNet account.

When you created your GeneaNet account, you received an email message confirming your connection parameters. Please print and keep this message carefully.

If you misplaced this message, you can always ask us for it in real time.

To do this, just go to the home page of GeneaNet and click on the link "I forgot my password" in the right hand side column of that page, in the "Identification / Subscription" section.

On the next page, indicate your email address in order to receive your connection parameters.

By the same token, please complete your details on your control panel as, in case of an error in your email address, we can always contact you by regular postal mail.

To make sure your details are up to date, please click on the following link:
http://www.geneanet.org/panel.php3 (after you logged in on GeneaNet).

Finally, if your email address has changed, please update your details through this same control panel.

At GeneaNet, we cannot take into account requests for change of electronic mail adresses transmitted by e-mail.

I would like to bring my data up to date. As you mentioned I have different accounts, and have recently changed my e-mail address. The accounts are roger22, roger352 and roger 387. My new e-mail address is rjean@mountaincable.net. Would you suggest I cancel all these accounts and re-issue my tree with the new information? Regards, Roger Jean
